Who We Are

TIN Shack 2.0 is a revival of spirit — a soul-fed reimagining of the beloved original café, now reborn as a living center for food, art, and community connection in the heart of Pāhoa. We’re not just a team — we’re a cast of creators, servers, healers, chefs, and dreamers committed to daily sacred service.

Rooted in nourishment and driven by local collaboration, we exist to uplift the community through rotating culinary residencies, cultural experiences, keiki offerings, and soulful events. Every dish, every event, every gathering is part of something greater: the living story of Pāhoa Town grounding down and rising up.

Meet Our Steward: Rhianna Mercier

Rhianna Mercier is the heart and vision behind TIN Shack 2.0. With a global background as a Creative Director, Producer, Experience Specialist, International Artist, and Certified Barista, Rhianna blends strategic leadership and laughter with intuitive design, spiritual depth, and a fierce commitment to community enjoyment.

Her work spans LA, NY, Paris, Istanbul, all of Hawaiʻi, and beyond — and everywhere she goes, she builds beauty from the bones up.

As the founder of Temple De La Alma, a 508(c)(1)(A) organization, Rhianna carries this café as a sacred space: not just for nourishment, but for revival, remembrance, and rebirth.

She’s not running a cafe — she’s guiding a movement.

This is sacred ground.

This is shared ground.

Our Truest Dream is to Ground Down Pāhoa Town.

Mahalo for your support.
